We work with utilities in the Southeast to assist with power restoration when needed. Job DescriptionSalary: 45,000 - 55,000 The Assistant Logistics Account Manager is responsible for assisting the Logistics Account Manager (LAM) with all aspects of day-to-day operations to ensure the customers needs are met effectively and efficiently. This includes being in constant communication with the Logistics Account Manager, Drivers, and Customer to ensure the customer stays informed with critical information. This position is in-office, and the schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, day shift. Essential Functions: • Provide quality customer service and be an effective liaison between the Account Management team and the Carrier Management team., • This position requires taking calls, managing shipments, accepting tenders from applicable TMS, and building tenders into our internal TMS,, • Schedule all pick-up and delivery appointments, and logging information accurately throughout the workday., • Work with other departments to ensure customer business needs are met timely and efficiently., • Help LAM achieve maximum profitability levels for assigned accounts., • Work closely with Carrier Management team to ensure that carriers hired comply with customers policies, procedures, and service requirements., • Accurately record data into internal systems such as our TMS, Excel, and workflow checklists., • Assist in maintaining customer relationships through high levels of customer satisfaction and communication.
