Job Description Detailer JOB SUMMARY The Detailer is responsible for reviewing architectural plans, specifications, and schedules to develop accurate door, frame, and hardware submittal packages. This role involves identifying appropriate products that meet project requirements and budgets, while ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and specifications. The Detailer works closely with contractors, architects, and internal teams to maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Accuracy, technical knowledge, and attention to detail are critical to supporting effective project execution. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Review architectural plans, specifications, addenda and construction schedules to fully understand project scope and opening requirements., • Collaborate closely with contractors, architects and internal team members to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle., • Identify the most appropriate products and pricing to meet project needs and budgets., • Create submittals ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
