Key Responsibilities 1. Solar Program Oversight & Delivery • Plan, execute, monitor, and control multiple solar and LED lighting projects from initiation to closeout., • Develop comprehensive solar project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements., • Define project milestones and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders., • Oversee daily execution of solar construction phases: design, permitting, procurement, installation, commissioning, and inspection., • Ensure all program activities comply with client contracts, specifications, NABCEP standards, and OSHA safety requirements., • Manage multiple solar projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact. 2. On-Site Project Management • Travel to project sites to oversee installation, commissioning, and quality inspections., • Act as the on-site representative for IKIO, ensuring project delivery aligns with safety, quality, and client expectations., • Lead on-site meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. 3. Cross-Functional Coordination • Organize regular meetings to synchronize activities between sales, engineering, procurement, construction, logistics, and installation teams., • Clarify roles and expectations, resolve interdepartmental conflicts, and facilitate consensus. 4. Client Relationship Management • Serve as the primary client contact throughout the solar program lifecycle., • Lead client meetings, provide regular updates, and address concerns., • Proactively resolve client issues and gather post-project feedback. 5. Resource & Budget Management • Prepare detailed resource allocation plans for solar and lighting projects., • Develop and track program budgets, monitor expenditures, and forecast financial performance., • Approve purchase orders, invoices, and change orders in line with budget constraints. 6. Quality Assurance & Compliance • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to define solar project quality requirements and inspection criteria., • Ensure all work complies with NEC, UL, ASHRAE, NABCEP, OSHA, and local codes., • Maintain up-to-date records of certifications, permits, and compliance documentation. 7. Reporting & Documentation • Maintain comprehensive solar program documentation, including schedules, budgets, change orders, meeting minutes, risk registers, and client communications., • Prepare and present weekly/monthly status reports to senior management. 8. Continuous Improvement • Conduct post-project reviews, analyze lessons learned, and implement process improvements., • Benchmark IKIO’s solar program management practices against industry standards., • Lead adoption of new technologies, tools, or methodologies. 9. Team Leadership & Development • Mentor and coach project managers, coordinators, and support staff., • Identify skill gaps and organize targeted training, especially in solar and safety practices., • Foster collaboration, accountability, and high performance. NABCEP and OSHA certifications, hands-on solar project management experience, and flexibility for site travel are essential. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)., • 5+ years of program or project management experience in solar construction, renewable energy, electrical, or related industries., • Demonstrated success managing complex solar projects (design, permitting, installation, commissioning, closeout)., • Experience with LED lighting, energy storage, and HVAC projects is preferred., • NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) certification required., • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training certification required., • PMP (Project Management Professional), PgMP (Program Management Professional), or equivalent certifications preferred., • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills., • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities., • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Trello)., • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources across concurrent solar and energy projects., • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Quality)., • In-depth knowledge of solar, LED lighting, and energy efficiency standards., • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as needed for on-site management and client meetings.
