Make a real impact as our Assistant Portfolio and Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in supporting both Portfolio Management operations and Growth initiatives across the team. This hybrid role is designed to strengthen relationships, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to the strategic expansion of the business. In your Portfolio Management capacity, you’ll build strong relationships with residents, vendors, and owners while managing property schedules and conducting essential fieldwork to optimize performance. You’ll support marketing efforts by creating compelling ads, managing leads, and ensuring that all property information remains accurate and up to date in AppFolio. In your Business Development capacity, you’ll help drive growth in new and existing markets through relationship generation and upfront support for owners, brokers, and investors. You’ll coordinate operational processes to maintain a healthy pipeline without placing undue pressure on the property management team. This includes ongoing communication and alignment between sales and operations to support stable, effective growth. You may also contribute to developing new processes to ensure our systems and workflows can scale as the company continues to expand. Responsibilities and Duties: Promote and continuously reinforce the Atlas Culture and Values: • Purpose First > Uplifting Humanity Through Real Estate, • Good for You, Good for Me, Good for Everything, • In Community, • Make it Memorable, • Simple, Empowered, Accountable Business Development & Growth • Attend networking events to build relationship and connections to generate new business., • Work to create memorable interactions with Clients, • Assist and create business plans for new market growth, • Tracking the CRM and pipeline to generate KPI data effectively and efficiently, • Working with the growth and marketing team to keep a healthy incoming pipeline of new deals, • Relationship management of existing relationships Portfolio Management • Provide field support for Portfolio Managers, including but not limited to:, • Building and maintaining positive relationship with residents, vendors, owners, and coworkers, • Building and maintaining a schedule including but not limited to showings, inspections, seasonal and regular maintenance, lease and renewal dates, move-outs, etc., • Conducting field work including setting up lockboxes, code boxes, and exterior inspection of properties, • Using high touch communication methods, such as phone calls, texts, and email, • Driving to the properties in the portfolio to complete these tasks (approximately 20 hours/week), • Fulfill any additional duties as assigned by the team, including but not limited to:, • Continuing education for maintaining an active real estate license, • Creating marketing advertisements, utilizing Tenant Turner, Facebook, and other programs to generate lead flow, • Lead response and showings, open houses, collecting property feedback from leads and providing that to the property manager, • Working with a team and different departments to complete tasks, • Attending daily check-ins with Portfolio Manager for daily tasks, • Using AppFolio to update correct property information and pulling reports Uphold Atlas Best Practices • Learn and uphold Atlas best practices, • Always tell the truth every time without hesitation; aka make a non-conforming commitment to truthfulness., • Do the right thing, every time even if it’s inconvenient or costly., • Understand and comply with applicable law and Atlas policies., • Use good judgment and avoid even the appearance of improper conduct., • Treat every person with dignity and respect., • Seek guidance when questions arise about the right course of action., • Intervene to prevent others from acting if you become aware that they are contemplating violating the law or the policies of Atlas., • Raise your hand to leadership if you encounter possible violations of the law or Atlas policies. Accepting applications through DECEMBER 2025. #ZR Requirements: What you Bring: Portfolio Management & Operational Expertise • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, • Have an active Real Estate license in Utah, • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other basic office technology, • High school diploma or equivalent, • Strong PM and/or Leasing Experience for the Salt LMarket, • Commitment to continual learning and growth, • High-functioning multi-tasking, • Strong communication skills, • Ability to problem solve, • Systems-oriented (can take direction and follow procedures), • Strong organizational skills, • Must pass background check, • Must have weekend availability and flexibility during the week, • Must be able to drive throughout the Salt Lake City Metro and surrounding areasBusiness Development & Growth Skills, • Desire to work hard to build a book of business that generates return business and referrals, • Ability to generate business opportunities through networking and strategic planning, • Ability to see opportunities to add value to clients and referral partners, • Ability to travel to new markets to follow new business opportunities, • Knowledge and experience in single-family and multi-family deal underwriting, • Basic Knowledge of MFH Financing and Valuations, • Ability to create budgets for MF deals and new developments as they are being underwritten to assist business partners in the acquisition of new deals, • Ability to create and manage a stabilization plan for new developments and value-add MF deals, • High knowledge of value-add construction and opportunity in specific submarkets, • Full comprehension of the Atlas Real Estate Property Management Agreement (PMA), including the ability to educate new owners on each aspect of the agreement, • Ability to create business plan and action plan for MFH properties, • High-level knowledge of Excel and proforma modeling, • Experience with the land planning process and submarket due diligence Ability to complete market surveys "Nice to Have" Qualifications: • Bilingual (Spanish/English), • Single-family residence (SFR) exposure, • Multi-Family Rental scattered site housing experience, • Walking: Regularly required to inspect properties, meet with residents, and move around the property., • Standing: Frequently required to conduct property inspections, meet with residents, and perform office tasks., • Sitting: Regularly required to perform office tasks, such as computer work and paperwork., • Lifting: Occasionally required to lift up to 15 pounds, such as boxes, files, or maintenance supplies., • Carrying: Occasionally required to carry light to moderate weight items, such as keys, paperwork, or small tools., • Bending: Occasionally required to inspect property conditions, such as basements or crawl spaces., • Climbing: Occasionally required to inspect multi-story properties or access property exteriors., • Driving: Regularly required to travel between properties., • Visual Acuity: Required to inspect property conditions, read documents, and use computer equipment #ZR Company DescriptionAtlas is a distinctly different real estate company specializing in real estate investments.
