Job Purpose:Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for the quality statistical analysis, planning, execution, and reporting of inspection and test results on all products. He/she conducts the quality investigation and prepare the Root Cause Analysis report for the failures. He/she will receive direction and work independently, providing updates to his/her manager on timely manner. He/she is expected to have basic knowledge of power transformer manufacturing, inspection process, and general quality assurance tools and be able to assist with other tasks as needed. In addition, he/she will assist in developing processes and procedures related to product development. He/she will receive work direction from a QA Team Leader or higher position. Key Responsibilities: • Report issues found in process, tracking system, describing steps to recreate the issue., • Develop and maintain KPI (Key Performance Indicators) and supporting data collection systems., • Create, maintain, and follow all related paperwork/ERP system for each unit during the process such as Quality Investigation Report, NCM (Nonconformance Minutes), NCR (Nonconformance Report), Eagle Eye, Weekly Performance Report, etc., • Organize and participate in technical meeting such as DRM, customer audits, etc. and to attend all audits and inspections with customer representatives., • Prepare daily QA/QC report regarding inspections, material, nonconformance, etc., • Prepare weekly surveillance reports, nonconformance reports and verification of corrective actions., • Ensure that all works are carried out as per the approved method statements and drawings., • Assist / coordinate the preparation of the final handing over documents such as NCR, NCM, and other QM activities such as TFT, Quality meetings documents, QIR reports etc., • Assist / coordinate equipment calibration process., • Manage the quality Task Force Team as it instructs by quality manager., • Conduct required training to other dept.’s regarding the QA process., • Coordinate training plan and monitor its effectiveness., • Monitor and measure Quality objective and KPIs., • Work closely with engineers, shop supervisors, sales and purchasing team and other employees and departments within the company., • Domestic or international travel upon necessity., • Flexibility in working hours to include nights, weekend and holidays upon necessity., • Overtime upon necessity., • Other core competencies will be defined by your direct supervisor/manager.Required Qualifications:, • Bachelor’s degree., • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)., • Ability to read and understand blueprints., • Well organized, with a strong emphasis on attention to details., • Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to interact with team members, senior support personnel, high level personnel and customers., • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift objects of up to 50 lbs., • Decent troubleshooting and creative problem solving skills., • Ability to adapt to change in direction quickly. Preferred Qualifications:, • 0-2 years of experience in the field of manufacturing and/or quality management., • Background in quality control and/or manufacturing industries., • Certified six-sigma green belt preferred., • CQA preferred., • Bachelor’s degree with STEM major preferred., • Ability to manage multiple calibration service with service providers., • Familiar with a product or projects schedule and what is required at each process as quality hold points., • Be able to create inspection, work and tests procedure standards from minimal documentation and customer specifications., • Be able to question production and quality performance and evaluate the production environment through 5S methodology., • Good understanding of QA, inspection, RCA and defect management process., • Good understanding of up-to-date ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001., • Good understanding about Lean manufacturing, Six-Sigma, 5S, Quality Failure Costs Analysis, Documents Control, Data Analysis & Internal/External Audit., • Able to help define system and user requirements through asking questions or following standards., • Knowledge and ability to use the quality tools to perform, monitor the tasks.Core Competencies:, • Strong organizational and time management skills., • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities., • High attention to detail and confidentiality., • Adaptability and willingness to take initiative., • Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural and multilingual environment., • Proactive communication and collaboration skills.Compensation & Benefits:, • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications., • Annual performance-based bonus., • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance., • Company-sponsored retirement savings plan (e.g., 401(k) or equivalent)., • Paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick leave)., • Visa sponsorship for eligible international candidates., • Relocation support (if applicable).
