Responsibilities Lone Star Turbo is seeking a motivated Inside Salesperson to join our Aftermarket group. This role is designed as an entry-level opportunity for recent graduates to develop skills in sales, customer engagement, and project execution within an industrial environment. NOTE: We are specifically looking for people who can evolve from this role to regional sales roles. These roles have a very high-income potential. Inside roles are designed to learn our business and technical skills in order be successful at the next level. As an inside sale role you will gain hands-on experience supporting quoting, selling, and project management of Aftermarket orders including overhauls, parts, rentals, and field services while working closely with experienced team members and cross-functional departments. This position offers strong growth potential within the organization, with exposure to both technical and customer-facing aspects of the business. Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: • Provide support to customers and internal teams throughout the order lifecycle, • Communicate with customers and internal teams to ensure a smooth process from quote to completion, • Schedule witnessed factory testing with customers, • Develop IO&M/Final report packages for the customer (as needed), • Facilitate commissioning of equipment with field service and customer, • Submit detailed engineering documents for approval and execute document testing, • Support tracking of orders and timelines from start to completion, • Manage third party buyouts and vendors, • Coordinate startup of equipment, • Coordinate with production to develop efficient project schedules that mitigate delays, • Develop and maintain Factory data sheets, • Assist in monitoring order progress and identifying potential issues, • Order project-specific items, not in production scope, • Identify potential cost-saving and opportunities for value-add engineering Qualifications Required • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or expected graduation within the next semester, • Strong interest in sales, customer engagement, and industrial environments, • Basic understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems, coursework or internship experience acceptable, • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, • Ability to learn technical concepts and apply them in a customer-facing environment Preferred • Internship or co-op experience in engineering, manufacturing, or sales, • Exposure to project coordination or customer-facing roles, • Interest in developing a career in technical sales, • Hands-on mechanical experience and proven mechanical aptitude, • Sales experience and aptitude Skills • Time management, • Professional and interpersonal communication, • Strong technical curiosity and willingness to learn, • Detail-oriented and organized, • Team-oriented, • Problem-solving and conflict resolution, • Self-starter and motivated, • Adaptable and growth-minded, • 401(k) match, • Dental insurance, • Flexible spending account, • Employer pays 100% employee health insurance and advantageous family medical coverage, • Health savings account, • Paid time off, • Professional development assistance, • Referral program, • Retirement plan, • Tuition reimbursement Work Location: 8883 West Monroe Rd, Houston, Texas 77061 Company's website: Required Travel: none Compensation (Salary - Exempt): $65,000 - $75,000 (Compensation may vary outside of this range at the company’s discretion.)
