Salary: $130,000 - $175,000 per year A bit about us: We are currently seeking highly skilled and motivated Structural Project Managers (SE) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work independent but still under supervision of the Engineer of Record for a given project. You would manage the overall structural team in their typical engineering and drafting tasks, provide the structural design (directly or indirectly to other members of the project team), and would be the primary conduit for all project coordination tasks internally within the structural team and externally with other disciplines, architecture, MEP, etc. You would also be expected to manage the project during the Construction Administration Phase and either directly or indirectly review / manage shop drawings, RFI’s, site visits, OAC meetings as needed during the construction phase. Job Details Responsibilities: • Conduct detailed structural analysis and designs of structural engineering for education (K-12 and Higher Ed), commercial, religious, healthcare, sports & entertainment, hospitality, retail, and federal/government projects using various design software such as Revir, Risa Floor, Risa 3D, Etabs, and Bluebeam., • Perform vertical and lateral analysis of structures, ensuring their stability and safety., • Prepare comprehensive structural reports and documentation for both internal use and regulatory compliance., • Collaborate with architects, construction project managers, and other engineers to ensure that project specifications and safety standards are met., • Review and approve project drawings and specifications, making necessary changes or corrections., • Monitor project progress, ensuring that structures are constructed according to design specifications., • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, codes, and regulations like IBC, ASCA, AISC, ACI, MSJC, NDS, PTI, and incorporate them into designs and strategies., • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field., • Must have a valid PE license., • A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering., • Proficiency in using structural engineering software such as Revir, Risa Floor, Risa 3D, Etabs, and Bluebeam., • Familiarity with vertical and lateral analysis of structures., • Strong knowledge of industry codes and regulations including IBC, ASCA, AISC, ACI, MSJC, NDS, PTI., • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail., • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner., • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team., • Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure., • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest industry trends.
