Job DescriptionSalary: $200,000.00 to $300,000.00 As SVP of Growth at Vertosa, youll lead the growth of the most influential team in the cannabis and hemp-infused product category. Youll be empowered to shape and execute innovative revenue strategies, drive B2B sales expansion, and identify new market opportunities, keeping Vertosa and its clients at the forefront of industry trends. In the first year, you will have the opportunity to: • Develop and drive the execution of a comprehensive growth strategy aligned with the companys growth objectives, driving customer acquisition, retention, and profitability., • Lead the development and implementation of the company's go-to-market strategy, ensuring alignment across all commercial functions., • Guide the identification and pursuit of new market opportunities, product categories, and revenue streams, ensuring the company stays ahead of industry trends., • Build and scale a strategic channel partnership network, including formulators, labs, co-manufacturers, distributors, and other industry collaborators, to accelerate market penetration and drive long-term revenue growth., • Establish and monitor comprehensive growth and commercial metrics, including revenue targets, sales quotas, and marketing KPIs, aligned with overall business objectives., • Optimize the end-to-end customer journey, from initial awareness to post-sales support, ensuring a seamless and positive experience., • Develop and refine pricing strategies, packaging, and commercial models to maximize revenue and market penetration., • Leverage market intelligence and customer insights to inform product positioning and value propositions., • Establish rigorous sales enablement programs, providing the necessary tools, training, and resources for commercial teams., • Oversee the utilization of commercial (sales, marketing, and commercial) software and systems, including CRM platforms, data analysis platforms, innovative ideas integrating AI and new technology methods, and market research resources to track performance, identify trends, and make data-informed decisions., • Regularly report on revenue performance, forecasting, and commercial metrics to the executive team and Board of Directors., • Build, lead, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams across sales, marketing, business development, and customer success or commercial functions., • As an executive of Vertosa Inc., you will meet the minimum standards of being a leader at Vertosa in terms of fiduciary responsibility, confidentiality, and strategic planning across the whole organization and its subsidiaries. To be successful in this role, you will bring: • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field., • 10+ years of experience in commercial or revenue leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving growth, preferably in B2B ingredient supply, F&B. cannabis, hemp, or adjacent industries., • Leadership experience in optimizing teams for rapid scale, demonstrating both strategic foresight and tactical execution, similar to a startup to standup model., • Demonstrated success in leading Sales, Go-To-Market, and Marketing teams with a focus on customer acquisition, loyalty, and retention., • Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive measurable business outcomes., • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams while collaborating effectively with other departmental leaders., • Strong proficiency in CRM systems, data analytics, and revenue optimization tools., • Understanding of the cannabis and hemp markets, including regulatory landscape, customer needs, and industry trends., • Interest in highly regulated industries and overcoming external challenges with constant change preferred., • Youve used AI tooling for work or personal useor you are willing to dive in and learn fast.
