The Role Our client is a pioneer in the autonomous vehicle industry, developing cutting-edge robotic transportation solutions. As part of the Advanced Hardware Manufacturing Operations team, you will play a vital role in building, testing, and troubleshooting complex, software-controlled electro-mechanical sensing elements (LiDAR, Cameras, and Sensors). We are looking for a detail-oriented technician who thrives in a collaborative, high-energy environment and is passionate about the future of transportation. Core Responsibilities • Quality Inspections: Execute IQC, IPQC, and OQC tasks for a variety of components, including injection moldings, castings, PCBAs, and complex electro-mechanical sub-assemblies., • Technical Testing: Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and DVMs to ensure component integrity., • Documentation & Compliance: Document all inspection results, reports, and logs in the quality database; maintain records in strict accordance with ISO and internal regulatory requirements., • Inventory Control: Manage the physical and virtual movement of products throughout the serialized manufacturing process to ensure traceability., • MRB & Root Cause: Assist engineering teams with Material Review Board (MRB) dispositions, identify non-conformances, and participate in root cause analysis (RCA)., • Calibration: Maintain and calibrate test/measurement equipment to ISO standards., • Reporting: Submit Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation and suggest continuous improvements for inspection procedures. Key Qualifications • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required., • Experience: 4+ years of progressive QA experience in a semi-automated or fully automated serialized production environment., • Industry Background: Experience in Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Device, or Robotics is highly preferred., • Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and MS Office/Google Suite., • Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications • Proven experience in manufacturing quality control or inspection roles within a regulated environment., • Proficiency with calibration tools such as calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM)., • Familiarity with industry standards including ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and related quality management principles., • Strong analysis skills for identifying deviations and implementing effective corrective actions., • Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies including QA/QC processes, audits, and documentation practices., • Experience working with precision measuring instruments and conducting detailed inspections during assembly processes., • Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills., • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and measurement data accurately., • Effective communication skills for collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
