Building a remarkable team is a top-level company priority. The Leave Coordinator will work closely with the Leave Consultants and assist with administrative duties to create a seamless workflow. The Leave Coordinator will report to the Sr. Director of Regulatory Services. What You’ll Do • Log all intermittent FMLA absences., • Forward faxes and voicemails from the general inbox to the appropriate Leave Consultant., • Assist the Leave Consultants with logging and auditing continuous leave hours., • Monitor total leave usage and notify Leave Consultants when the employee is close to expiring., • Re-format and load company eligibility files into the system., • Set up new leave cases in the system and notify the Leave Consultants when they are ready., • Make phone calls to employees for due date reminders, due date extensions, and return-to-work reminders., • Print, organize, and mail leave of absence paperwork., • Field overflow calls from employees during times of high-volume., • Review individual intermittent FMLA usage for patterns and over-usage and notify the appropriate Leave Consultant of issues., • Assist with running quarterly usage reports for clients and putting them into a presentation or slide deck format., • Assist the Leave Consultants with processing COVID leave request forms and approvals., • Draft leave of absence paperwork for consultants for new leave requests, requests for more information, and designation notices., • Perform other duties as assigned., • A high school graduate with an earned diploma or equivalent certificate., • One to two years of administrative experience., • Prior HR or leave experience preferred., • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel., • A detail orientated individual with strong organizational and prioritizing skills, and the ability to be flexible and multi-task in a collaborative environment., • Someone with strong interpersonal skills who understands that our business objective is to provide superior customer service and can handle conflict in a professional manner., • An internally motivated individual looking to grow personally and professionally., • Qualified candidates possess above average analytical and problem-solving skills. After successful training this person will work Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm ET with an hour lunch. Roles may be approved for other schedules by managers. This role operates in a professional #LI-remote office environment. This role is mostly sedentary and consists of prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. This role also utilizes other tools such as a phone, copy machine, and printer. Common programs often used are Outlook, Word, and Excel. This position frequently communicates with Flores team members and candidates and must be able to exchange accurate information clearly in these situations.
