This role owns the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, contracting, and nurturing clients from first touch to final cheers. With six floors of restaurants, bars, lounges, and entertainment spaces to sell, this position calls for someone who thinks strategically, moves quickly, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. What You’ll Do • Drive event revenue through consultative selling, outbound outreach, and proactive pipeline management., • Prospect, pitch, and secure new business while cultivating a strong base of returning clients., • Own the full sales process: proposals, tours across all floors, menu recommendations, contracts, and deposits., • Conduct tours of the property with meeting planners and potential clients., • Collaborate with Marketing to build smart, on-brand promo campaigns that spotlight our spaces, generate new leads, and keep Chief’s top of mind for corporate, social, and VIP clients., • Represent Chief’s at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and generate leads., • Monitor market trends to maintain a competitive edge., • Partner with the Event Manager to deliver a client experience that exceeds expectations., • Build long-term client relationships that generate ongoing events and brand loyalty., • Partner cross-departmentally with Operations, Culinary, Entertainment, and Production to ensure smooth event execution., • Keep precise records in Tripleseat and internal systems to maintain accuracy, transparency, and accountability., • Monitor pacing, analyze performance, and adapt strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets., • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, travel partners, and event planners to maximize bookings and repeat visits. Who You Are • You love selling in a fast-moving restaurant, bar, and entertainment environment where no two days look the same., • You’re comfortable with outbound prospecting and aren’t shy about following up until you get traction., • You bring strong presentation and closing skills, paired with a service-first mindset., • You’re a natural relationship builder who understands the value of trust and long-term client care., • You’re goal-oriented and motivated by hitting targets., • You can juggle multiple clients, deadlines, and personalities without breaking a sweat., • You’re self-directed, strategic, and excited to grow your book of business. Minimum Requirements • 2–3 years of experience in event sales, hospitality sales, or a similar client-facing role., • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal., • Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and timelines with precision., • Polished, professional presence with excellent customer service instincts. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business Administration, or a related field., • Experience with event management systems like Tripleseat or other CRMs., • Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals., • Familiarity with the Nashville market or similar high-volume entertainment destinations., • Participation in industry organizations is a plus.
