Job Details Job Details: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our dynamic team in the Accounting and Finance industry. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong focus on operational efficiency and team leadership. They will be responsible for driving the company's operational strategy, implementing operational excellence, and ensuring the successful execution of business strategy across all functions. This is a pivotal role within the company, offering the opportunity to shape our future direction and contribute significantly to our long-term value creation. Responsibilities: • Continuously pursue personal and professional development, focusing on leadership, operational excellence, customer service, and strategic skills., • Motivate and lead a high-performance management team; attract, recruit, and retain team members., • Drive a functional culture built on synergy and trust., • Assist in formulating the company's future direction and support tactical initiatives., • Partner with fellow Executive team members to develop and consistently update the Company’s short-term and long-term strategic plans., • Lead the annual business and planning and budgeting processes, as well as longer-term measurement of performance against plans., • Attend industry, vendor, and customer trade meetings and events, maintaining a strong network of industry contacts., • Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive leadership team., • Ensure people are the company’s competitive advantage through hiring, developing, mentoring, and promoting great leadership/talent., • Critically assess company performance, marketplace changes, and effectively develop business strategy., • Lead and ensure the successful execution of business growth objectives and cost reduction objectives., • Establish internal and external processes and key performance indicators for the organization., • Ensure that effective quality, food safety, and employee safety programs are in place and being properly executed., • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and people., • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a leadership role (C suite or VP of Operations experience highly preferred)., • Proven track record of operational success and team leadership., • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills., • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills., • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders., • Experience in strategic planning and execution, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures., • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data., • Knowledge of public relations, marketing, and governance., • Ability to motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects., • Proven negotiation skills., • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.
