The location of these positions is flexible and can be performed from any of our Apex offices or hybrid. Primary responsibilities include working as a key project team member on highway and urban roadway projects from design through construction. A Lead Engineering Technician shall be capable of independently and collaboratively contributing to the design and development of project plans utilizing their CADD skills and hold the role of Chief Inspector on construction projects. Our Lead Engineering Technicians will typically report to a Project Manager or senior level team member. Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Finance Manager combines hands-on accounting responsibilities with opportunities to influence firm strategy and drive process improvements. This internal role includes managing day-to-day accounting functions such as billing, payroll, and financial reporting, while helping to strengthen internal controls and modernize systems. Essential Position Responsibilities: · Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and journal entries. · Oversee full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. · Manage the firm’s billing and collections processes in coordination with the Billing & Collections Coordinator. · Oversee payroll processing, expense management, and related compliance reporting. · Prepare and review financial reports, analyses, and supporting schedules. · Participate in month-end and year-end close, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all financial data. · Monitor and maintain internal accounting controls and documentation. · Collaborate with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. · Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation. · Support audit and tax preparation efforts by maintaining organized and accurate records. Job DescriptionJob Title: CNC Programmer/Skilled CNC MachinistReports to: Plant ManagerHours: 1st Shift M-Th 5:30 am - 4:00 pm (OT available as needed)Compensation: $27 - $35/HRSummary/ObjectivesThe CNC Programmer/Skilled CNC Machinist will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and troubleshooting CNC programs for mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
