The purpose of the Support Center is to deliver a high level of service within their work center in order to support the business. Position Purpose The Facilities Procurement Manager supports the Facilities team by leading the sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, and warehouse alignment necessary to equip and maintain Border Foods restaurants. This role ensures that equipment, parts, materials, and supplies are procured efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with company standards. In addition, this role directly oversees the Warehouse Manager to ensure receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution processes support field operations with accuracy and reliability. This position blends strategic vendor management with operational leadership within the Facilities organization. Support Center Core Values in Action Accountability & Integrity • Demonstrates integrity in vendor negotiations and purchasing decisions., • Ensures compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations., • Maintains accurate documentation of contracts, pricing, inventory, and purchasing records., • Builds strong cross-functional partnerships with Facilities, Construction, Finance, and Field Operations., • Provides clear direction and support to the Warehouse Manager., • Responds promptly to field requests and resolves issues in a timely manner., • Sources and negotiates competitive pricing and service agreements for equipment, parts, tools, and materials., • Supports remodels, maintenance initiatives, and new restaurant openings with accurate and timely procurement., • Oversees warehouse operations to ensure organization, efficiency, and safety., • Monitors inventory levels, detailed parts tracking, and material flow in and out of the warehouse., • Takes ownership of personal and professional development., • Provides guidance and leadership to the Warehouse Manager., • Identifies opportunities to improve procurement and warehouse processes. Procurement & Vendor Management • Source and purchase equipment, parts, supplies, and materials for restaurant operations and Facilities projects., • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to drive cost efficiency while maintaining quality., • Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor vendor performance., • Partner with the VP of Facilities, Construction Manager, and Field Service teams to anticipate procurement needs., • Support remodels, special projects, and operational initiatives through effective purchasing coordination., • Directly manage the Warehouse Manager., • Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, distribution, and parts inventory., • Ensure safe, clean, and organized warehouse operations., • Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock., • Coordinate delivery of materials to restaurant locations and job sites., • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)., • 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, facilities support, or operations., • Experience managing vendor contracts and negotiating pricing., • Prior leadership or direct oversight experience preferred., • Strong organizational and communication skills. This position requires the ability to sit, stand, bend, and move intermittently throughout the workday. Occasional lifting of materials up to 50 pounds may be required.
