Position Summary The Early Childhood Special Education Program (ECSE) Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day oversight, coaching, and performance management of ECSE classroom staff, including ECSE Teachers and Teacher Assistants (TA-1 and TA-2/Behavior Specialists). This role ensures high-quality classroom instruction, behavioral support implementation, and compliance with Early Intervention (EI) regulations and educational standards, while maintaining a structured, therapeutic, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. The ECSE Program Supervisor serves as the direct supervisor to classroom staff and works closely with the EI Director, BCBAs, and interdisciplinary providers to ensure consistency across educational and clinical programming. Key Responsibilities Classroom & Staff Supervision • Directly supervise ECSE Teachers and Teacher Assistants (TA-1 and TA-2/Behavior Specialists), • Provide weekly in-class coaching, modeling, and performance feedback, • Conduct performance check-ins, corrective action, and staff development planning, • Ensure appropriate staff-to-student ratios and consistent classroom coverage Instructional & Behavioral Oversight • Ensure implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum (e.g., Frog Street or equivalent), • Oversee behavioral strategies and ABA-informed interventions within the classroom, • Collaborate with BCBAs/LBS to ensure behavior plans are implemented with fidelity, • Monitor classroom environments for safety, structure, and cleanliness, • Ensure compliance with EI standards, licensing requirements, and documentation expectations, • Support data collection, progress monitoring, and classroom documentation systems, • Collaborate with EI Director, BCBAs, therapists, and families, • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and interdisciplinary planning, • Assist in onboarding and training new ECSE staff, • Reinforce ALFS expectations related to:, • Professionalism, • Parent communication, • Classroom management, • Cleanliness and organization, • This is an annual contract position aligned with the Early Intervention (35) program calendar, • The role includes approximately 181 days of direct service delivery, • Services are delivered in accordance with the EI calendar, including instructional days, scheduled breaks, and recognized holidays, • Professional responsibilities (e.g., training, planning, documentation, and meetings) are completed during designated non-service days and professional development periods, • Compensation is distributed evenly across payroll cycles throughout the calendar year Qualifications • Masters Degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, ABA, Psychology, or related field, • PA Special Education certificate required, • Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) preferred or required, • Minimum 35 years of experience in Early Intervention (Elwyn), ECSE, or ABA settings, • Demonstrated experience supervising or leading classroom and/or clinical teams, • Strong knowledge of:, • Early childhood development, • Classroom management, • Behavior intervention strategies, • Experience working in interdisciplinary settings (EI, ABA, Speech, OT, PT, SI) Retirement & Healthcare • 401(k) with employer contribution, • Medical coverage through the Blue Cross Blue Shield network, • Dental and vision coverage Paid Time Off (6+ Weeks Total) Paid Holidays (9 Days) • Memorial Day May 25, 2026, • Juneteenth June 19, 2026, • Independence Day July 4, 2026, • Labor Day September 1, 2026, • Thanksgiving Day November 26, 2026, • Christmas Day December 25, 2026, • New Years Day January 1, 2027, • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day January 18, 2027, • Spring Break: March 28 April 5, 2026, • 5 days annually (prorated during the first year), • Leadership development opportunities, • Active classroom environment requiring standing, movement, and interaction with young children, • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and respond to behavioral needs safely Abundant Life Family Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
