Your Role as a Special Education Teacher:, • IEP Development & Instruction - Create and implement IEPs, lesson plans, and instructional strategies that meet each student's individual needs and goals., • Documentation & Reporting - Timely submission of IEPs, progress reports, and evaluation documentation., • Collaboration & Communication - Partner with parents, multidisciplinary teams, and school staff to support student success., • Classroom Management & Behavior Support - Maintain a structured learning environment using behavior management and intervention strategies., • Assessment & Progress Monitoring - Track student progress through evaluations, assessments, and behavioral data collection., • Safety & Compliance - Follow all safety policies, including PPE use and confidentiality, while supporting students' self-care needs. Required Qualifications:, • Active PA Teaching Certification is required, such as a Private Academic Certificate or Level I/II PA Instructional Special Education Certification (K-12)., • All New Story Teachers must have their PA teaching license in place by August 1, 2025.
