Job Description Type: Full Time Location: Falls Church VA Overtime Exempt: Yes Reports To: ARMADA HQ Security Clearance Required: Secret Duties & Responsibilities: Personnel Security Specific Responsibilities: • The Security Manager will provide policy support and technical guidance for personnel, information, and industrial security., • Facilitate development of enterprise procedures to conduct full criminal history checks on staff also known as Childcare Background Checks (CBC) from initiation to adjudication including due process., • The Security Manager will assist in the development of a database to track all staff requiring a CBC, annual recertification and 5-year renewal., • The Security Manager will submit monthly summary reports of investigations via the monthly program performance summary., • Knowledge of personnel, information, and industrial security policies within federal or DoD environments., • Familiarity with DoD childcare suitability or screening policies., • Advanced knowledge of DoD interagency coordination, policy development, and action officer responsibilities., • Strong database management and reporting skills., • Ability to coordinate meeting minutes, action tracking, and partner engagement documentation, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools., • The Security Manager shall possess the ability and have a history of developing security policy and managing compliance programs., • The Security Manager shall demonstrate expertise in DoD/OPM suitability adjudication., • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Emergency Management, Security Studies, Public Policy, Information Security, or related discipline).
