Job DescriptionJob Title: CNC Lathe MachinistJob Description We are seeking a motivated CNC Setup Machinist/Programmer dedicated to supporting our semiconductor manufacturing industry through precision machining and programming. This role is essential for setting up and verifying jobs on multi-axis CNC milling and lathe equipment, as well as programming with MasterCam and Mazatrol. Responsibilities • Perform setup of multi-axis machine tools, including tools, set part zero, offsets, and holding devices, and prove the program at the machine until the completion of the first article inspection., • Manage machine tool setup information and setups., • Troubleshoot and resolve program problems at machine tools., • Provide clear and detailed instructions for machinists., • Simplify and economize tool lists to increase efficiency., • Manage and procure cutting tools., • Read and review technical drawings for conversion into machine tool programming., • Create high-quality Mastercam and Mazatrol programs with correct sequencing, cutting paths, tooling, speeds, and feeds., • Review and maintain existing programs for continuous improvement., • Manage program library and program shop work orders., • Maintain professional relationships with employees, customers, and vendors., • Measure and inspect parts using height gauge, calipers, micrometers, CMM, or other measuring instruments., • Assemble parts using conventional and non-conventional hardware and tools., • Monitor and adjust or replace tooling when necessary., • Document actions taken on manufacturing orders., • Adhere to all company policies, safety guidelines, and ethical conduct codes.Essential Skills, • High school diploma or equivalent., • 5 years of Mazatrol CNC Lathe programming experience., • Proficiency in programming Live Tooling (Y-Axis)., • Conversational programming/editing experience., • Experience in setup and changeovers., • Expertise in working with 4 and 5-axis CNC lathes.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Fabrication experience., • Experience with Bar Feeder is a plus., • Experience with Part Transfers to Sub Spindle., • Expertise in geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing.
