Position: Corporate Security Agent (Unarmed) Type: Full-Time, On-Site | 6-Week Contract Assignment, with full time placement opportunity Location: San Francisco, CA Role Description The Corporate Security Agent is a critical member of our on-site security team, responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment within a dynamic corporate setting. This is a unified, interchangeable role — agents are expected to operate across all assigned posts throughout their shift, including the building reception desk, surface parking lot, and roving coverage. Staff will rotate between posts daily in accordance with post orders and operational need. This position demands a high level of professionalism, situational awareness, and composure. Agents must be equally capable of delivering exceptional customer service at the front desk and responding decisively to security incidents in the field. Specialists are fully trained, licensed, and equipped to operate independently in accordance with established post orders and escalation protocols. Shifts (Monday – Sunday | 24/7 Coverage) Rotation: 6 Days On / 2 Days Off Shift Breakdown: 8.5-Hour Shifts (30-Minute Unpaid Meal Break) • Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, • Swing Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, • Grave Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM Key Responsibilities • Reception & Front Desk Coverage: Serve as the first point of contact for all employees, visitors, and guests entering the facility; deliver top-tier, white-glove customer service and maintain a polished, professional presence at the building reception desk at all times., • Access Control & Entry Management: Control and monitor all entry and exit points; verify and log visitors, vendors, and contractors; manage access procedures for staff and guests; and prevent unauthorized entry or loss of client property., • Parking Lot Security: Maintain a visible security presence in the surface parking lot; assist employees with any access or entry issues and ensure the safety of vehicles and personnel within the lot., • Roving Patrols & Area Sweeps: Conduct thorough interior and exterior foot patrols of the facility on a regular basis to identify safety hazards, security vulnerabilities, and potential threats, informing ongoing risk assessments and post orders., • Surveillance & Monitoring: Monitor CCTV systems, access control platforms, alarms, and designated access points; screen mail and packages; and promptly identify, report, and escalate suspicious activity or safety concerns., • Emergency Response: Respond swiftly and decisively to door alarms, facility incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other security events; coordinate with law enforcement, fire, and EMS as required., • Relief & Post Coverage: Provide meal and break relief to personnel at all assigned posts, ensuring uninterrupted security coverage across the site at all time., • Stakeholder Relations: Establish and maintain rapport with key personnel, building staff, and stakeholders; support day-to-day facility operations while upholding strict confidentiality and discretion., • Threat Detection & Reporting: Actively detect, assess, and report suspicious activity, observed vulnerabilities, and safety concerns; prepare detailed, timely incident reports to support follow-up, tracking, and corrective action., • Protocol Adherence: Execute all post orders and site-specific SOPs with precision; apply security policies consistently across every shift and coordinate effectively with all supporting personnel., • Uniform Standard: Agents will wear a polo shirt with khaki pants as standard everyday attire, consistent with client preferences and operational context. Required Qualifications • Minimum 3+ years of experience in security operations, including corporate security, facility security, or related assignments, • Valid California Guard Card, • Valid U.S. driver's license, • Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR/AED certification, • Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation and drug screening, • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear, accurate incident reports, • Demonstrated ability to remain composed, professional, and effective in high-pressure environments Compensation • $30.00 per hour, • Consistent 8.5-hour rotating shifts (Day, Swing, or Grave) Note: Please submit your resume, a brief professional bio, and a recent professional photo for consideration.
