Job Description Position Summary: The Senior Recruiter acts as a strategic talent partner to the business, responsible for full-cycle recruiting of high-volume salaried positions across multiple states. Unlike a traditional transactional recruiter, this role requires a deep understanding of the organization’s operational goals to not only fill open requisitions but to ensure the right talent is placed to drive business success. This individual will manage a robust pipeline of candidates while serving as a trusted advisor to hiring managers—consulting on market trends, talent availability, and candidate profiles. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Partner deeply with department managers and site leaders to understand the "why" behind their hiring needs., • Learn the operational nuances of the business to identify candidates who are a cultural and functional fit, reducing turnover., • Conduct regular strategy meetings with hiring managers to review pipeline health, market data, and recruiting roadblocks., • Provide consultative guidance on job descriptions and hiring criteria., • Collaborate with leadership to forecast future hiring needs based on business growth projections, seasonal trends, and turnover analysis, ensuring a proactive approach to critical staffing gaps., • Develop, facilitate, and execute all phases of the recruitment process across multiple geographic regions., • Manage high-volume recruiting efforts with agility, reviewing resumes, conducting rigorous phone screens, and coordinating complex interview schedules., • Source passive and active candidates through diverse channels (job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and database mining) to build sustainable talent pipelines., • Screen applications and select qualified candidates who possess both the technical skills and the behavioral attributes necessary for long-term success., • Facilitate the offer process, acting as a liaison between the candidate and the hiring team to ensure a smooth and professional closing phase., • Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (including multi-state wage and hour regulations) and company policies., • Maintain accurate and real-time records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS); ensure data integrity for reporting purposes., • Monitor and analyze recruiting metrics (Time-to-Fill, Quality-of-Hire, Offer Acceptance Rates, Turnover) to identify trends and recommend process improvements., • Assist with job posting strategies and advertisement processes to maximize ROI., • Attend and participate in college job fairs, community recruiting sessions, and virtual hiring events to represent the organization's brand., • Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field., • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in recruiting and talent acquisition., • Extensive experience in High Volume recruiting for both hourly and salaried positions within the 3PL, Distribution, or Logistics industry., • Strong understanding of recruiting across various state lines, including knowledge of differing time zones and regional labor laws., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence hiring decisions at a management level., • Proven ability to multitask and manage a high volume of requisitions (30-50+ open roles) without sacrificing candidate quality., • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, and recruiting software., • SHRM-CP or PHR certification., • Experience with specific recruiting platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)., • Familiarity with staffing for warehouse start-ups or seasonal peaks., • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer., • Frequent telephone and video conference usage., • Occasional lifting of items up to 20 pounds (e.g., career fair materials)., • Primarily office-based with occasional visits to warehouse facilities., • Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers., • Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance- First of the month after 30 days of employment, • 401K with company match, • PTO and Holiday eligibility on the date of hire, • Weekly Pay, • Full Grant Tuition & Tuition Reimbursement Hayes Company/Knight Swift Warehousing and Fulfillment is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment regardless of race, gender identity, gender expression, age, color, religion, disability, veteran's status, sexual orientation, or any other protected factor.
