Job Description ABOUT OUR ROLE The Server Assistant supports the service team by ensuring the dining room is properly prepared, maintained, and reset throughout service while providing attentive support to both guests and servers ABOUT OUR VALUES We believe in guiding the adventure, saying yes to possibilities, and working together as one team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards, • Prepare and set all dining areas for service, • Set tables before, during, and after service according to standards, • Perform side work assigned by Supervisor, • Offer water to all seated guests, • Carry out service of bread and butter to guests at the appropriate time (if offered), • Clear plates and silver between courses and prep set up for the next course to be served, • Make sure area surrounding table and chairs are clean and orderly, • Maintain cleanliness of all work areas, China, glass, etc., throughout the day, • Complete closing duties, including restocking items, polishing silver and glassware, etc., • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, • Welcome and acknowledge all guests everywhere, always, • Be available to run food, bus tables and re-set dining sections in all areas, • Address guests` service needs, • Speak with others using clear and professional language, • Develop positive working relationships with fellow staff and support team to reach company goals, • Provide service to always expected levels while on property Experience: • Previous experience as a server assistant, busser, or in a similar support role preferred, but not required, • Strong teamwork and communication skills, • Attention to detail to ensure tables are properly set, cleaned, and reset quickly, • Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment, • Friendly, positive, and professional attitude, • Willingness to take direction and help wherever needed, • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards REQUIREMENTS • Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods, • Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 40 pounds (e.g., trays, bus tubs), • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach frequently BENEFITS Company Benefits and Perks Full Time Part Time Seasonal Medical (with company contribution) Eligible Dental (with company contribution) Eligible Vision (with company contribution) Eligible Paid Time Off Eligible 401(k) (with company match) Eligible Eligible Sick Time Eligible Eligible Employee Dining Discounts Eligible Eligible Eligible Employee Marketplace Discounts Eligible Eligible Eligible SCHEDULE Hospitality demands a flexible schedule that may require extended hours as the business requires coverage including seasonality– on any day at any hour, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
