Position Summary: The Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing all logistics activities, supporting warehouse operations, negotiating operational freight and warehouse rates, and maintaining accurate inventory and documentation. The role plays a critical part in ensuring that equipment and materials are moved efficiently and accurately between suppliers, warehouses, and project sites, while providing defined procurement support for minor equipment logistics services and analytics. This is a hands-on role managing inventory and ensuring operational efficiency across the supply chain. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly organized, proactive, self-driven, collaborative, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, detailed-oriented, sensitive to timeliness of tasks and enjoys working cross-functionally with project teams, suppliers, warehouses, and logistics partners. We are looking for someone that is enthusiastic about inventory management and WMS implementation. Responsibilities: Logistics Management • Management of equipment deliveries to project sites and warehouses., • Request, confirm, and track delivery dates and delivery requirements with project managers and project Managers, • Liaise with carriers, warehouses and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) to monitor progress on deliveries, plan deliveries, monitor inventory provide feedback on invoices., • Support urgent or emergency logistics needs (e.g., shipment of replacement or spare equipment)., • Identifying and securing storage space for upcoming equipment. Warehouse & Inventory Management • Ensuring Dimension’s equipment inventory remains current and accurate by verifying and maintaining records on incoming and outgoing shipments., • Coordinate and document goods receipts in alignment with warehouse records, • Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and warehouse visits., • Monitor inventory discrepancies and escalate issues as needed, • Prepare and provide monthly inventory reports for the accounting team, • Prepare documents such as Purchase Orders and packing lists to route materials., • Record shipment data such as origin, destination, rates., • Review warehouse’s invoices for pallet counts, rates, and cost allocations by project., • Review suppliers’ contracts along with the Legal team., • Providing support in emergencies like sending spares or additional equipment if original equipment is damaged, • Supporting Procurement by following up with suppliers and updating files., • Create and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions. Commercial & Rate Negotiation • Negotiate operational freight, transportation, storage, and warehouse handling rates with existing carriers and 3PLs within approved scope and budget, • Support updates to logistics and warehouse rate agreements in coordination with the Procurement Manager, • Review of warehouse invoices for pallet counts, rates, and cost allocations by project and flag discrepancies, • Prepare and organize logistics and procurement-related documentation (e.g., Purchase Orders, packing lists, shipping and delivery documents), • Maintain organized, accurate, and traceable records to support audits and internal reviews, • Will work closely with the procurement manager to ensure there is alignment between procurement and logistics and assist with procurement tasks., • Prepare Purchase Orders for minor equipment, including non-critical, low-value operational items such as plastic pallets, spare parts, and replacement components, based on approved requests, • Follow up with suppliers on delivery status and required documentation, • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, International Business, or equivalent experience, • Warehouse Management Strongly Preferred, • Knowledge of Logistics Management, • 2-3 Years of experience in supply chain management., • Able to work in a diverse team environment, • At least three years of experience in a shipping warehouse managing inventory., • Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English., • Customer service skills, • Analytical and problem-solving skills, • Attention to detail is a must., • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in transportation and shipping, • Knowledge of the renewable energy industry is preferred but not required., • Strong data analysis and reporting skills (Excel, dashboards, forecasting tools), • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Adobe. Physical Demands: The physical demands of this position require an individual to be able to work at a computer for most of the day, as well as being able to participate in conference calls, Microsoft Teams meetings, and occasional travel to team retreats and warehouses from time to time. Our team is in the office on Mondays-Thursdays and works remotely on Fridays. The role requires travel as needed based on business demands up to 25%.
