Cemplex Group, a subsidiary of Compellier™, is a construction subcontractor serving the multi-family housing and hospitality markets across the central and eastern United States. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Collaborate with the General Manager to build effective teams that align with company values and achieve common goals., • Foster trust within the team through honesty, integrity, and authenticity., • Ensure accountability by holding staff and others responsible for meeting commitments., • Assist in driving consistent results, even under challenging circumstances., • Plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals., • Demonstrate self-awareness, utilizing feedback and reflection for personal growth., • Actively engage in learning agility, experimenting with new solutions and learning from both successes and failures., • Share responsibility for the full P&L of the assigned location., • Expand upon existing leadership efforts within operations, field and fleet activities, and contribute to achieving financial results., • Recruit, coach, and mentor team members for career advancement opportunities., • Contribute to instilling a high-performance safety culture and lead by example., • Play a key role in planning, budgeting, and identifying needed resources., • Ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards., • Facilitate the creation of team objectives/goals and individual responsibilities., • Monitor the progress of construction activities and hold regular status meetings with key operations team members., • Collaborate with corporate support teams to improve efficiency and work processes., • Monitor operational costs and review results with the team and corporate support staff., • Assist office staff with estimating hard cost numbers, schedule of values, production schedules, and related billing., • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the execution of field operations., • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget., • Ensure resource availability and allocation., • Measure operational performance using appropriate systems, data, tools, and techniques., • Report and escalate to management as needed, utilizing subject matter experts for overall business success., • Perform risk assessments to minimize operational risks., • Ability and availability to travel to job sites and attend meetings and functions outside of typical business hours., • Ability to embody the ICOMPEL Values., • Working knowledge of construction contracts, scope of work, plans, and specifications., • Familiarity with OSHA, FMCSA, and US DOT regulations., • Proven track record of leadership in labor-intensive and large construction operations., • Experience with construction site operations., • Strong financial, analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills., • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders including general contractors, owners, architects, site personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, union representatives, and employment agencies., • Excellent client management and relationship-building skills., • Capacity to respond positively to pressure and time-sensitive situations., • Excellent operational and mechanical troubleshooting skills, understanding of concrete curing characteristics, hydraulic systems, and mix designs., • Team player with expertise in operations, sales supervision, project management, and company administration., • Self-starter with the ability to set goals and tasks., • Strategic Planning: Ability to gather, interpret data and appropriately apply knowledge to the planning process, • Stakeholder Management: The ability to anticipate and balance stakeholder needs, • Vision and Purpose: Behavior demonstrated that reflects the goals of the organization, • Innovation: Ability to adapt to fast-changing environments, • Business Acumen: Ability to apply business knowledge to achieve positive organizational outcomes, • Manage Complex Situations: Ability to predict, recognize, and define problems, • Attracts Talent: The ability to attract top talent to support business needs, • Resource Management: Ability to identify needs and to allocate resources to ensure effective operating results and cost management, • Accountability: Responsible and answerable for actions and performance individually or on a team, • Initiative: Ability to perform job responsibilities independently and responsibly, • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, and five years of progressive responsibility supervising construction operation, or equivalent role in commercial or residential construction management; OR, • Associate's Degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, and seven years of progressive responsibility supervising construction operation, or equivalent role in commercial or residential construction management; OR, • High School Diploma or equivalent, and nine years of progressive responsibility supervising construction operation, or equivalent role in commercial or residential construction management., • Climb, crawl, and walk while carrying or operating machinery and tools upstairs, downstairs, and over potentially uneven surfaces., • Lift, pull, push, and carry 80 lbs. of weight intermittently., • Ability to identify safety hazards and communicate effectively with others., • Sustain the stamina to perform manual labor outdoors, exposed to the elements, vibrations, loud noises, offensive smells, dust, dirt, and water in all seasons, including extreme temperatures., • Safely perform work with appropriate safety gear., • Distinguish between different colors., • Bend, squat, twist, and reach in various positions as the situation dictates.
