Position Overview We are seeking a Store Manager who thrives in a high-velocity retail environment and is passionate about developing people, driving performance, and delivering an exceptional medical cannabis experience to all Florida patients. This leader will be responsible for the store’s financial performance, operational excellence, and team development, with a strong emphasis on upholding brand experience. The Store Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, support employee growth, and communicate needs, opportunities, and solutions directly to the Director of Retail. Candidates must have Cannabis Dispensary Management experience Key Responsibilities • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing retail team of cannabis advocates., • Drive store performance through efficient operations, compliance, sales execution, and exceptional customer service., • Oversee cash handling, inventory accuracy, product merchandising, and loss-prevention initiatives., • Uphold and reinforce all Florida cannabis regulations and ensure allotment compliance., • Execute company initiatives, communicate store needs, and identify opportunities for improved performance., • Manage hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, and ongoing talent development., • Foster a positive culture rooted in servant leadership, teamwork, and continuous improvement., • Ensure the store environment is clean, safe, compliant, and consistent with brand standards., • Provide regular reporting on KPIs, operational challenges, staffing needs, and store performance. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, or related field preferred, though equivalent experience is welcome., • 5+ years of high-volume cannabis, retail, or hospitality leadership experience., • Proven experience in:, • Talent acquisition, coaching, and employee development, • Inventory management, purchasing, merchandising, and logistics, • Cash handling & operational oversight, • Servant leadership mindset with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team., • Strong understanding of Florida cannabis regulations and patient allotment compliance (or ability to learn quickly)., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, POS systems, and inventory management software., • Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays., • Ability to travel up to 5% as needed., • Physical & Mental Requirements, • Ability to remain in a stationary position or move throughout the store for extended periods., • Ability to lift, carry, and move packages up to 20 lbs., • Strong observational skills and ability to adjust focus as required., • Ability to meet the physical and cognitive demands of a fast-paced retail environment, with or without reasonable accommodation., • Working Environment, • Work is performed in a professional retail setting with moderate noise levels., • This description reflects essential job duties but is not exhaustive; responsibilities may be updated at the employer’s discretion.
