Event Staff

We are looking for events staff to work across all venues based in London. The position will allow flexibility as you can set your own rota. We have events day times / evenings and some weekends. Searcys have some of the most famous venues in London and deliver exceptional food, drinks and service.

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Event Staff. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of various events. We specialise in creating memorable experiences with services including chocolate fountains, photobooths, and food stations, events include, weddings, charity events, proms, birthday parties and much more! Duties Assist in setting up and dismantling event spaces Greet and direct guests upon arrival Provide support to event organisers and attendees Manage guest services and ensure a high level of hospitality throughout the event Assist with crowd control and ensure the safety of all attendees Operate event equipment and ensure it functions smoothly Address and resolve any guest inquiries or issues promptly Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of event areas Skills At least 1 year of experience in customer service or hospitality Passion for events and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organisational abilities to ensure events run smoothly Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Flexibility to work weekends and evenings Driver’s license is desired but not mandatory If you are passionate about events, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you! The Role As an Events and Promotions Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, responsible for two main areas: 1) Local-Level Promotion - Raise awareness of Club Ticket in your city through flyer and poster distribution, social media, and email marketing. - Establish and manage a network of promotional staff. - Develop links with universities, shops, bars, and local businesses. 2) Managing Events on the Night - Ensure smooth and efficient event execution, including setting up venues and managing promotional staff. - Liaise with our management team and hospitality venues. Additional Responsibilities - Develop business opportunities by building and maintaining relationships with student organizations, societies, and sports teams. - Drive sales through group bookings and private events. - Work alongside the marketing department to create promotional activities. - Respond to online, phone, and face-to-face inquiries. - Organize and conduct meetings for business development. - Manage all reservations and events, processing function sheets, and communicating with relevant departments. Skills and Experience - Previous experience in a similar role within the events, hospitality, or a relevant industry is preferred. - Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills. - Strong negotiating skills and confidence in up-selling.
