You will be taking over from a long standing HSE Manager who has been an integral part of driving culture change in the last decade, through a zero harm agenda. They haven’t achieved this alone, there is visible health and safety leadership across the board, with all areas of the business taking accountability. \n You have one direct report who shows great potential but is still early in their health and safety career, so needs nurturing and mentoring. No two days are the same here, whether it is dealing with environmental requirements, emergency management, ongoing CAPEX projects or fire risk preventions strategies. \n Working within a matrix structure, you will demonstrate hands on leadership, focusing on driving high standards of health and safety compliance across the site, reporting day to day into the Plant Director.
