Key Responsibilities Business Administration and Operational Support • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the business owner and Takeaway Manager., • Maintain accurate business records, including purchase records, supplier invoices, stock records, sales information, and operational documents., • Assist management with reviewing business performance, identifying operational issues, and implementing improvements., • Prepare and organise documents, reports, and records required for effective business management., • Support communication between management, kitchen staff, front counter staff, delivery personnel, and suppliers. Stock Management and Inventory Control • Monitor stock levels of food ingredients, packaging materials, cleaning supplies, and other operational items., • Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock information regularly., • Conduct stock checks to identify shortages, over-ordering, wastage, or discrepancies., • Assist in forecasting stock requirements based on sales trends, customer demand, and seasonal changes., • Support effective stock rotation and storage procedures to minimise food waste and maintain product quality., • Monitor usage of key ingredients, including pizza ingredients, fish, chips, meat products, vegetables, sauces, and packaging materials. Purchasing and Supplier Management • Assist with purchasing activities, including sourcing and ordering food supplies, packaging materials, and business equipment., • Liaise with suppliers regarding product availability, prices, delivery schedules, and order issues., • Maintain records of supplier details, purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices., • Compare supplier prices and support management in identifying opportunities for cost savings., • Monitor supplier performance to ensure deliveries meet quality, quantity, and timing requirements., • Assist in managing relationships with food wholesalers and other business suppliers. Financial and Cost Control Support • Maintain accurate records of daily purchases, expenses, and supplier payments., • Assist with monitoring food costs, stock costs, and operational expenses., • Support management in controlling costs through effective purchasing and stock management., • Assist with basic sales reconciliation and review of business records.
