Construction Site Manager Location: Cardiff Start Date: 27th April 2026 Duration: 22 weeks Our client is a well-established Retail and Commercial Contractor delivering projects across the UK with values of up to £15 million. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to manage a large construction program on distribution facility based in Cardiff. This role requires a proactive and organised individual with strong leadership skills who can effectively manage site operations, subcontractors, and health & safety compliance to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. Key Responsibilities: • Managing day-to-day site operations on a busy distribustion centre, • Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are carried out in line with the project programme, • Maintaining and enforcing high standards of health & safety compliance on site, • Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings, • Monitoring progress and reporting updates to the Project Manager and wider project team, • Ensuring works are completed to required quality standards, specifications, and deadlines, • Managing logistics, deliveries, and site coordination within an active retail environment where required, • Liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery Requirements: • Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction projects, ideally within retail or commercial developments, • Valid CSCS Card, • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), • First Aid at Work Certificate, • Asbestos Awareness, • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, • Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain programme deadlines To Apply: If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact Abigail McAulay or Paul Thomas on the number provided, or send your full, up-to-date CV along with relevant certificates via email to be considered
