TRANSACTION SERVICES MANAGER SANDIACRE, NG10 5AN (ONSITE) COMPETITIVE SALARY Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for leading high‑performing transaction services teams? We're looking for a Transaction Services Manager to lead core finance operations across Progress Rail Services UK Ltd and Electro‑Motive Diesel Ltd, with responsibility for Accounts Payable, Sales Ledger, Credit Control and Treasury, ensuring robust controls and excellent service delivery. THE ROLE: As a Transaction Services Manager, you will be required to: Lead the Transaction Services function across the UK businesses, with end‑to‑end responsibility for Accounts Payable, Sales Ledger, Credit Control and Treasury. Ensure accurate, timely supplier payments, customer invoicing and cash management, driving strong cash flow and financial control. Own and continuously improve procure‑to‑pay, order‑to‑cash and payment processes, including a central role in cross‑business improvement projects. Oversee credit control and customer debt positions, supporting resolution of issues and improving receivables reporting and efficiency. Manage treasury operations, ensuring bank payments are processed on time and identifying payment process improvements. Deliver robust monthly reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and analysis aligned to business objectives. Ensure full compliance with SOX, accounting standards, internal controls and regulatory requirements; act as a key contact for external auditors. Lead, develop and coach the Transaction Services team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. Promote Caterpillar and PRS values, contributing to operational excellence, OPACC improvement and wider finance and business initiatives.
