About The Role Level: 5 Department: Mortgage & Protection Network Location: Homebased, United Kingdom Contract Type: Permanent Regulated/Non-Regulated: Non-Regulated As a member of the Mortgage Network leadership team, you will be responsible for the relationship management team and recruitment team, including both field-based and telephone-based support. You will be a major contributor to the relationship strategy with the emphasis on delivery of central initiatives in order to achieve core objectives, whilst ensuring that good customer outcomes are at the centre of decision making. A core element of the role will be building relationships with AR Firm principals alongside Relationship Managers, understanding their businesses and supporting them to grow whilst ensuring good customer outcomes. The key responsibilities of the role are to: • Manage and drive the development of the Relationship Management/Recruitment teams and manage key initiatives in order to help achieve the agreed annual sales targets., • Contribute to the design and delivery of the Mortgage & Protection Network plan., • Develop and maintain relationships with leading advice firms., • Develop initiatives and strategies that will enhance the offering for the Relationship Managers, recruiters and telephone-based consultants., • Support AR businesses in identifying opportunities to grow whilst ensuring the delivery of good customer outcomes., • Contribute to the effective on-boarding of ARs and advisers., • Leverage Operations and other Sales colleagues effectively to enhance sales., • Work with the Distribution Director to identify and improve efficiencies through effective use of data., • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for M&P, working with the business to develop initiatives and strategies that will enhance the offering of the Mortgage Network. ., • Support the design and delivery of a successful events and marketing programme in partnership with Marketing colleagues., • Evidence of successfully driving growth through sales delivery, meeting and/or exceeding ambitious targets, with experience of driving both mortgage and protection growth with AR firms., • Deep understanding of the way in which different types of AR Principles and Advisers operate, • Experience of line managing a team to deliver in a target-driven environment, • Comprehensive understanding of Mortgage and Protection product sectors and distribution channels, including Family protection., • Delivery focused, with high energy and drive, and ability to deliver through others., • Strong influencing skills, with the ability to navigate complex political environments and manage multiple stakeholders., • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate, build relationships and lead through influence., • Experience in thinking strategically, able to construct coherent growth plans to deliver against multiple objectives., • Creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills., • Focused on results and continuous improvement to meet and exceed sales targets., • High level of personal confidence, able to lead, manage change through influence and persuasion and inspire others., • Credibility, professionalism and strong personal integrity.
