Clinical Director – Naya Health Location: Marylebone, London / Hybrid | Contract: 6-month with potential to go permanent About Naya Health “Na·ya” meaning “renewal”, “new chapter”. Our Vision: A Full-Spectrum Neuro-Recovery Clinic At Naya Health, we are building far more than a treatment centre—we are creating a new category of care: full-spectrum neural restoration. Our mission is to address the complex and overlapping roots of chronic pain, depression, fatigue, trauma and addiction through an integrative, personalised approach that goes beyond conventional medicine. Our vision includes: 1. Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) • Our foundational treatment: drug-free, non-invasive, backed by 20 years of research, and an excellent safety record, • Proprietary protocols with 93% success rates and 40%+ remission at two years, • Adapted for chronic pain, depression, anxiety, PTSD, Long COVID, OCD and addiction cessation, • FDA and NICE approved for many conditions, and backed by the NHS 2. Therapeutic Interventions • Talking Therapies: Evidence-based CBT, ACT and trauma-informed psychotherapy, tailored to patient needs, • VR-Assisted Therapy: Immersive experiences to accelerate emotional processing and neuroplasticity, • Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy (Future-Ready): As regulation permits, we aim to integrate licensed psychedelic protocols (e.g. ketamine, psilocybin) into our care pathways, paired with expert therapeutic support 3. We are now seeking a Clinical Director to help lead this next chapter. The Role | Job Description As Clinical Director, you will be the clinical voice of Naya Health—shaping protocols, building trust with the medical community, and representing our mission to patients, partners, and the public. You will help us build and scale the UK’s most progressive neuro-rehabilitation network, rooted in both scientific rigour and compassionate care. Key Responsibilities 1. Clinical Leadership • Set, review and uphold evidence-based clinical protocols across all treatment domains, including chronic pain, depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction cessation, Long COVID and OCD., • Serve as the final clinical authority on protocol updates, patient safety, and risk-benefit communication., • Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient outcomes and service quality. 2. Public Representation • Act as a senior clinical spokesperson for Naya Health at conferences, media engagements, advisory panels and public events., • Champion our mission to GPs, specialists, policymakers and scientific institutions., • Become the trusted face clinicians refer to, and patients relate to. 3. Professional & Referral Network Development • Build high-trust relationships with referring doctors, pain consultants, psychiatrists, and allied health professionals., • Work with insurance providers to ensure treatments are reimbursable wherever possible, • Cultivate academic and research partnerships to support peer-reviewed publication and potential NHS integration., • Lead efforts to expand referral pathways, from specialist consultants to corporate occupational health. 4. Quality, Safety & Governance • Maintain robust clinical governance structures in line with GMC, CQC and NICE frameworks., • Support staff training, mentoring, and continuous clinical education., • Oversee safe prescribing and off-label practices for MST and adjunct therapies, ensuring consistent patient outcomes. 5. Growth & Innovation • Play an active role in expanding Naya’s service offerings and geographical footprint., • Contribute to the design of outcome studies, real-world evidence data capture and AI-driven insights platforms., • Shape Naya’s trajectory into a category-defining leader in integrative neural care. Candidate Profile Essential Attributes • GMC-Registered, Physician with a Licence to practice: Eligible to lead and sign off on treatment protocols. Active and credible in clinical practice. Minimum of 7 yrs clinical experience, • Proven leadership: You are a Specialist physician with strong leadership in either psychiatry, pain medicine, or neuromodulation. You have a proven track record of leading teams of people in clinical settings, • Clinical authority: Trusted among peers with a demonstrable track record in evidence-based innovation and care., • rTMS experience: Curiosity with rTMS. A two-day training course can be offered to the right candidate, • Magnetic presence: Confident speaker with excellent communication skills; credible in the boardroom and on stage., • Networked and respected: Recognised by your peers as someone worth listening to. Desired Attributes • Proven rTMS Delivery Experience: Hands-on experience administering or supervising magnetic stimulation protocols., • Service-Building Track Record: Demonstrated experience in designing, launching or scaling clinical services or pathways., • Academic or Teaching Credentials: Affiliated with a teaching hospital or involved in medical education or clinical supervision., • Research Engagement: Participation in published research, clinical trials, or innovation studies., • Specialist Insight into Complex Conditions: Experience working with trauma, functional disorders, or addiction recovery., • Public Voice in Health: Comfortable engaging with media, podcasts, panels or speaking engagements., • Digital & Data Fluency: An understanding of how technology, AI or data can support personalised care and operational efficiency., • Cross-Disciplinary Curiosity: A genuine interest in both psychiatry and pain medicine, and how they intersect. Remuneration & Commitment Given our seed-stage nature, we are offering a blend of compensation and long-term partnership. Initial 6-Month Contract (3 Days per Week) • Base remuneration: £5,000–£7,000/month (dependent on days committed and seniority), • Equity Options: Up to 1.0% vesting over 3 years, with accelerated vesting for early traction and impact. This initial contract is intended as a springboard.
