Cater for specific needs including allergens, fortified diets, and dysphagia management. Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen. Plan menus that are varied, seasonal, and resident-focused. Work collaboratively with staff to support residents’ health and wellbeing. Requirements: Extensive chef experience, ideally within care homes, healthcare, or similar environments. Strong understanding of dietary requirements and specialist diets. Professional culinary qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cookery). Food Hygiene certification. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region.
