Base location - Cardiff, CF157QT - travelling to sites around the South Wales Region This role includes travelling and working away from home Salary - Current role holders are earning between £26,208.00-£33,000 per annum with all of the extras included Hours - 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 15:30 Routinely work overtime, weekends and nights as required Working away from home, sometimes for extensive periods on a national basis Veolia's industrial division combines a range of industrial services to provide appropriate solutions such as chemical cleaning, tank cleaning, materials handling, water jetting and environmental response. Salary: £40,000 a year, full time (35 hours per week). 4 Day Week Pilot: The company is currently undertaking a one year 4-day week pilot (effective June 2025-June 2026). Person Specification: Essential Qualifications and Experience: • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a commercial management role within the energy sector, preferably in renewable energy., • Proven track record in contract negotiation and management, • Experience in structuring and managing project portfolios, including the establishment of SPVs., • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and risk management, • An understanding of the requirements of providing bilingual services Desirable Qualifications and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, law, engineering, or a related field., • Familiarity with Welsh Government policies related to community energy and shared ownership., • Experience working within a charitable or not-for-profit organisation., • Spoken and/or written Welsh skills, or a genuine willingness to learn Welsh.
