Aureos are seeking an organised and detail driven Work Winning Coordinator with strong communication skills and the confidence to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. This role will work closely with the Head of Business Development and key stakeholders within the Rail business unit to identify and assess opportunities, ensuring they progress through the required governance and approval steps prior to tendering. A core part of the role will involve reviewing procurement portals, client pipelines, frameworks, and industry intelligence sources to identify new leads and emerging opportunities. In addition, the Work Winning Coordinator will help to align the business by identifying and coordinating the accreditations, certifications, memberships, and compliance requirements needed for Aureos to tender for and deliver works (for example, RISQS codes for rail). This includes tracking requirements and coordinating renewals to ensure the business remains tender ready across the rail sector. The role will also support the management and coordination of governance requirements, assisting in the preparation and completion of governance documentation such as Permissions to Tender and Permissions to Submit in conjunction with the Head of Business Development and departmental leads, ensuring all bids progress through the correct internal approval pathways. This role will suit an organised, detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and the confidence to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. The candidate must be able to clearly articulate opportunities, requirements, and next steps to different teams to support informed decision making. Location This role is based on a hybrid working model, with time split between office and working from home. Key office locations include Mansfield, Sheffield, Crewe & London. Business Overview This role will work within the central Work Winning team which services all parts of the infrastructure sector, with a focus on the Rail sector. The Aureos business is undergoing an exciting period of growth with current turnover of £400m expected to grow to £1bn by 2030. Key Responsibilities • Work with the Head of Business Development & Rail business unit to uncover, coordinate and manage leads, • Review client portals and published pipelines tender portals to identify and communicate new and future business prospects, • Make and retain contact with client procurement teams to remain abreast of pipeline / opportunity developments, • Distribute relevant opportunities to business unit leads and functional teams., • Undertake client expression of interest questionnaires / market sounding questionnaires and forms in collaboration with the Head of Business Development and business unit teams, • Maintain and update group pipeline software and tracking tools to support strategic reporting and decision making., • Provide pipeline details for business unit communication, management and forecasting, • Assist in the preparation of governance documentation and reporting, • Attend and contribute to weekly / monthly / quarterly work winning meetings, • Coordinate work winning reporting for the Rail business, • Assist tendering teams where required Required Skills • Essential - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), • Essential - Experience in a work winning role, ideally within the construction sector, • Essential – Detail orientated, strong organisational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, • Preferred - Experience with managing project pipelines, tender portals, and document management tools, • Preferred - Familiarity with public and private sector procurement processes (preferred) In return you will receive. • Generous Salary, • 25 days Holiday with the option to buy more, • Pension, • Cycle to work scheme, • Free parking, • Health & wellbeing programme, • Employee benefits portal., • On-site parking, • Private medical insurance, • Referral Scheme Equal Opportunities Aureos are an equal opportunities employer and we are determined to ensure that no applicant or employee receives less favourable treatment on the grounds of gender, age, disability, religion, belief, sexual orientation, marital status or race, or is disadvantaged by conditions or requirements which cannot be shown to be justifiable
