Position Summary: The Account Manager I - EMEA is responsible for supporting and managing customer relationships for Unical within the UK and European markets. This role focuses on promoting and selling inventoried aviation parts, as well as sourcing aviation components not currently in inventory to meet customer RFQs. The Account Manager I will deliver high-quality customer service, develop a strong understanding of customer requirements, and identify opportunities to grow accounts through upselling and cross-selling. This role requires foundational aviation knowledge, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced aerospace environment. Duties & Responsibilities: • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers via telephone, email, and in-person meetings as required., • Act as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring clear and timely communication., • Gain an understanding of customer needs, operational challenges, and purchasing requirements., • Support sales activities by responding to RFQs and preparing competitive quotations., • Promote and sell inventoried aviation parts and assist with sourcing parts not currently in stock., • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services to existing customers., • Assist with business development efforts for new and prospective customers., • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, procurement, logistics, quality) to deliver customer-focused solutions., • Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, delivery schedules, and specifications., • Track orders through to delivery, ensuring deadlines and customer expectations are met., • Conduct basic market and competitor research to support sales strategies., • Provide customers with accurate product information and industry insights., • Assist with negotiations on pricing, delivery, and terms under guidance from leadership., • Support achievement of individual and team sales targets and KPIs., • Review monthly sales performance and contribute to forecast discussions., • Attend team meetings, share best practices, and support colleagues as needed., • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, or customer visits when required., • Perform accurate cost calculations and maintain detailed records in company systems., • Complete other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: • Experience in an aviation components sales or customer support environment., • Basic understanding of aircraft airframe and engine technologies and operations., • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English., • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint., • Ability to organize workload, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines., • Self-motivated with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment., • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure., • Willingness to work extended hours when required to meet critical deadlines., • Ability to conduct in-person customer visits as needed. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience., • Experience using Quantum or similar ERP systems. Travel: • Some travel may be required with notice. Language: • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently. Physical Demands: • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer., • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally., • Physical activities may include walking, carrying, pushing, climbing, and reaching. Position Summary: The Sr. Account Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships with Unical. A primary objective will be to promote and sell inventoried aviation parts and sourcing and selling aviation parts not in inventory to satisfy customer request for quote (RFQ). Strategic sourcing and pricing is a key component to the success of this position. This position will provide exceptional service, understand client needs, and identify opportunities for business expansion in order to grow the company's presence within the aerospace industry. This role requires a deep understanding of the aviation industry, detailed orientated, technical knowledge, and work well in a fast-paced environment. Duties & Responsibilities: • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person, and via telephone and emails., • Understand the unique needs, goals, and challenges of each client., • Act as the main point of contact between the company and clients, ensuring open communication., • Gain a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements in order to upsell and cross-sell products or services to existing clients., • Work on business development of potential customers., • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client requirements., • Research and gather market and customer information; learn about the market, products, service, and competitors., • Provide clients with insights and recommendations based on industry knowledge., • Negotiate terms of an agreement and closing sales., • Ensure timely delivery of products or services to clients., • May represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations., • Work as a liaison with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders & obtaining good pricing through bargaining /negotiating on price and costs, delivery, and specifications., • Develop and achieve sales budget targets with leadership., • Review monthly sales performance, able to aim and meet or exceed yearly targets., • Able to make accurate, rapid cost calculations, and provide customers with competitive quotations., • Attending team meeting and share best practice with colleagues, supporting the team and helping each other when needed., • Track products through delivery on time and meeting deadlines., • Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: • Experience in a sales aviation component environment., • Must have a basic understanding of aircraft airframe and engine technologies and its operations., • Must be able to prepare and facilitate presentations to customers., • Must be available to conduct in-person customer visits as needed., • Skills in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint., • Requires good oral and written communication skills, organization, time-management skills., • Self-motivated and ability to build collaborative relationships in a team/department and customer/client environment., • Must be able to work extended hours when necessary to meet critical deadlines., • Good business acumen and good judgment., • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with accuracy.
