BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Pension Technical Analyst to join our client who are an award-winning group of financial services and technology companies based in Newburn, Newcastle Upon Tyne. Key Benefits they offer: • Salary remuneration of £32,500 inclusive of a monthly bonus., • Full-time permanent position, • Working Hours - Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm (1hr Lunch), • Free on-site parking, • Hybrid Working – There will be some hybrid working to this role once training is completed, • 33 days annual leave, including bank holidays (increases with length of service), • Enhanced Maternity, paternity and adoption leave, • Company pension contribution (increases with length of service), • Financial Services Academy – Allowing employees to develop their career within the wealth management sector, • Company/team events throughout the year Your Duties & Responsibilities include: • Working within pension administration, delivering & servicing operations requirements, • Pro-actively assist and ensure all service level agreements and performance standards are met, • Proactively promote the use of agreed procedures / training notes throughout operations, • Be a point of refence on operations & non-standard transactions., • Check and challenge work performed by less experienced colleagues and ensure changes are undertaken correctly when required., • Regulatory reporting responsibilities as and when demands are made by regulators, • Proactively identify and pursue changes to processes to improve business line efficiency., • Be a primary liaison point, for colleagues and key clients, for all pension admin enquiries, • Ensure that continuous improvements are maintained to the highest possible standards, • Train, support, and mentor junior colleagues and hold feedback sessions when required, • Assist in complex/project work when required including complaints., • Participate in project work within the teams to foster continuous improvements & innovation., • Take ownership of complex enquiries and see through to the end doing whatever research is deemed necessary to complete the tasks, • Be a contact point for in-house technical enquiries You will need: • Pro-active attitude, • Strong attention to detail, • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills., • Strong organisational and time management skills., • Focusing on Customers, • Leading the team effectively, • Engaging others, • Seeing the bigger picture, • Driving Performance, • Innovating and improving, • Knowledge of MS Office products, such as Excel and Word
