A multi-year opportunity where your craftsmanship will directly support the build of cutting-edge naval platforms. This is more than just a job - it's hands-on, high-impact work in a fast-paced shipbuilding environment. You'll be part of a collaborative and experienced team, shaping complex metal structures with precision and pride. Responsibilities Manufacturing and installing marine-grade ventilation, HVAC systems, and interior furnishings. • Install a variety of ventilation systems, including rectangular and spiral ducting, • Fabricate and assemble bespoke metal furniture such as triple bunks, wardrobes, and metal desks, • Read and interpret technical drawings to complete detailed metalwork installations, • Work with a range of tools and materials to shape, cut, and fit metal components, • Maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and finish in all tasks What you'll bring: • Recognised Trade Papers / Modern Apprenticeship Certificate - essential., • Experience in large-scale marine, oil & gas, or industrial manufacturing., • Solid understanding of SHE, COSHH, and general site safety standards., • Confidence working in confined spaces or at height when required., • A strong eye for detail and a pride in the quality of your work., • All applicants will need to have lived in UK for the past 3 years as a minimum and willing to undergo a Baseline Personal Security Screening (BPSS) to be considered for the role.
