Production Planner £36,000 - £38,000 per annum (DOE) Corby | Office-based | Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm Benefits: 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays) Pension scheme On-site parking Permanent, full-time role Brand new position with real autonomy About the Role Due to continued growth and success, our Corby based FMCG manufacturing client is creating a brand new Production Planner role within their busy operation. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced planner who thrives on ownership, enjoys shaping processes, and wants to make a visible impact from day one. Working closely with the Head of Production and Purchasing, you will establish and own the production planning function, setting best‑in‑class standards that support efficiency, customer demand, and operational performance. Key Responsibilities Establish and take ownership of the full production planning function Design and implement planning processes, schedules, and systems from scratch Create and maintain production plans aligned to customer demand, stock targets, and capacity Collaborate closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, driving continuous improvement initiatives Use data and analysis to support decision-making and improve workflow efficiency About You We're looking for a proactive and adaptable Production Planner who enjoys problem-solving and influencing across teams. You will be able to demonstrate: Proven experience in Production Planning, Manufacturing Planning, or a similar planning role Strong understanding of effective internal and external planning processes Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A positive, can do mindset with the confidence to build and improve processesFull one‑to‑one support will be provided to help you become familiar with company processes and procedures.
