The homes support young people with challenging behaviours, learning disabilities and complex needs and we are looking for resilient and compassionate individuals who are passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives. This is a flexible, ad-hoc role where you can choose shifts that work for you, however applicants must be able to commit to a minimum of 25 hours per week. The Role As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the young people in our care feel safe, supported, and encouraged to develop independence skills. Your responsibilities will include: • Supporting young people with daily routines and independence skills • Managing and responding to emotional and behavioural challenges • Building strong, therapeutic and trusting relationships • Encouraging engagement in music, creative activities and structured routines • Maintaining a safe, consistent and nurturing home environment • Completing daily logs and contributing to care planning This role requires resilience, emotional intelligence and the ability to remain calm and consistent in challenging situations. You will play a key part in ensuring the needs of each child are met while supporting their personal growth and wellbeing Shift Patterns Typical shifts include: • 7:30am – 11:00pm • 10:00pm – 8:00am (Waking Night) Shift patterns may vary depending on the service, as we work with multiple residential providers.
