Working in partnership with some of the UK and Europe’s most well-known companies, currently hiring for the pivotal position of a Assistant Engineering / Facilities Manager, for a new client located in a busy campus environment in Slough. This contractor manages the maintenance of a major UK data centre and is committed to delivering an efficient and effective critical engineering maintenance service. The primary function of this role is to ensure 100% uptime of engineering services, ensuring zero impact to the client’s business operations. Main Purpose To provide leadership and direction to the onsite building engineering team and contractors, ensuring effective management of the premises, plant, and equipment within the data centre. The successful candidate will act as the client’s primary point of contact for all site-related works and must demonstrate a solid understanding of the engineering, contractual, and compliance requirements within a hyperscale data centre environment.
