We are seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team. About the Role In this role, you will support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them manage behaviour, engage with learning, and develop positive coping strategies. This is a highly rewarding position suited to someone who is patient, proactive, and committed to supporting young people who may need additional guidance to reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities Supporting students with SEN and behavioural needs in and out of the classroom Building strong, positive relationships to promote trust and engagement Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour in a calm and consistent manner Encouraging emotional regulation and social development Working collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams Helping to maintain a structured and supportive learning environment Who We’re Looking For We welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds — you do not need previous school experience.
