    Aster Support Services Ltd is looking for a reliable and caring Support Worker to provide school transport support for a child with additional needs. This role is ideal for someone looking to earn extra income alongside another job, as the hours are before and after school. Working Hours • Morning: 45 minutes, • Afternoon: 45 minutes, • Total: 1.5 hours per day, • Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) Duties • Collect the child at 8:00 am., • Safely transport and drop the child at Trinity School, Dagenham by 8:45 am., • Collect the child from school at 2:45 pm., • Safely transport the child to Grafton Primary School, Dagenham, arriving at approximately 3:30 pm, where Mum will be waiting at the school gates., • Maintain a safe, professional and caring approach at all times. Essential Requirements • Full UK driving licence., • Access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate motor insurance., • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)., • Commitment to work throughout the entire academic school year., • Reliable, punctual and trustworthy., • Preference will be given to applicants living in or near the Dagenham area. Important Information • No personal care is involved., • No shifts during school holidays, bank holidays or school closure days., • These non-working periods are unpaid., • There may be opportunities to take on additional hours and become a Personal Assistant (PA) in the future as the service develops. Pay • £14.00 per hour, • Approximately 7.5 hours per week during term time., • Based on a typical school year (around 190 pupil days), this is approximately £3,990 gross per year, which averages around £332.50 gross per month if annualised.

We are looking for an After School Club Deputy Manager with NVQ level 3 in Child Care and Education, Play work, NNEB, Children & Young Peoples workforce or equivalent in childcare. Must be well-organised, friendly, enthusiastic, and flexible with good communication skills. Main duties include: · Helping the manager with planning, preparing and delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment. · Providing comprehensive care for the children including collecting them from school and delivering them safely to parents/carers. · Providing support and supervision to playworkers and volunteers in the absence of the Manager. · Setting up the play space including moving furniture and play equipment. · Providing refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met. · Administering first aid when necessary. · Consulting with children and involving them in planning activities. · Encouraging parental involvement in the club. · Facilitating good communication with all members of the organisation, parents, schools and childcare and play related agencies. · Undertaking appropriate and relevant training. · Keeping the work environment healthy, safe and secure. · Working within the framework of the club’s policies and procedures, and the Early Years Foundation Stage.
