Key Responsibilities • Hold and maintain Registered Manager status with the relevant regulatory body, • Lead, recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of care staff, • Oversee all aspects of care delivery, ensuring services meet CQC standards and the Care Act, • Ensure every client has a personalised, up-to-date care plan and risk assessment, • Safeguard clients at all times and ensure all alerts are handled correctly and promptly, • Conduct and oversee unannounced quality checks at client homes, • Manage compliance, audits, and action plans following inspections and monitoring reviews, • Build and maintain relationships with local councils, healthcare professionals, and referral networks, • Manage budgets and staffing levels effectively, minimising agency reliance, • Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota, • Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture built on performance and excellence About You We are looking for a natural leader with a strong background in domiciliary or adult care management. You will bring: • Proven experience as a Registered Manager or senior manager in adult care services, • A thorough understanding of the Care Act, CQC regulations, and domiciliary care legislation, • Experience managing staff, including recruitment, supervision, appraisal, and training, • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and person-centred care planning, • Experience of auditing, reporting, and developing action plans, • Budgetary awareness and the ability to manage costs effectively, • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent), • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, • A full driving licence and ability to travel across the area, • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required, • Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check What's on Offer A competitive salary package, ongoing professional development, and the opportunity to lead a growing service with the full backing of a committed registered provider.
