We know that everyone here at Veolia can help us work alongside our communities, look after the environment, and contribute to our inclusive culture.\n\nWhat we can offer you;\n\n25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays\n \nAccess to our company/people's pension scheme\n \nDiscounts on everything from groceries to well known retailers\n \nAccess to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need to\n \n24 hour access to a virtual GP, 365 days a year, for you and family members in your household\n \nOne paid days leave every year to volunteer and support your community \n \nOngoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential\n\nWhat you'll be doing; \n\nCarry out planned and breakdown maintenance on plant and apparatus including conveyors, rotary driers, baling equipment, low voltage equipment, pumps, motors, gearboxes, mechanical drives, and centrifuges\n \nMaintain material handling equipment, blowers & ducting, extruders, plant auxiliaries, hydraulics, pneumatics and optical sorting equipment\n \nOrganise and plan PPM scheduled work and non-scheduled work through SAP CMMS\n \nManage contractors on-site including site induction completion and ensuring work instructions are followed\n \nReview Risk Assessments and Method Statements and raise work permits in line with VES safe working practices\n \nInspect work areas and equipment for deficiencies, hazards, and malfunctions and report discrepancies to the Maintenance Manager\n\nWhat we're looking for;\n\nCity & Guilds or NVQ level 3 in electrical maintenance or a recognised formal apprenticeship with an ONC or HNC\n \nExperience in process manufacturing, production industry, waste or food manufacturing facilities\n \nPractical engineering problem-solving experience\n \nExperience in control systems and Software (DCS/SCADA/HMI/PLC) is desirable\n \nExperience with CMMS, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems is desirable\n \nAnalytical investigation skills with practical ability to resolve engineering problems is desirable\n\nWhat's next?\n\nApply today, so we can make a difference for generations to come.\n\nWe're proud to have been named as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work for three consecutive years in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
