Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home Location: Bolton Salary: £51,500 – £61,500 per annum Contract: Full-Time, Permanent We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a large detached children’s residential home supporting children and young people who have experienced trauma, may have mental health needs, and/or have a learning disability. The home offers extensive outdoor space designed to encourage positive engagement, therapeutic activities, and structured development. The home provides a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and developmentally. About the Role: As Registered Manager, you will have full operational responsibility for the home, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and staff development. You will lead a dedicated team in delivering trauma-informed, child-centred care that promotes stability, resilience, and positive outcomes. You will be supported by: • A Managing Director with previous experience working within Ofsted, offering invaluable regulatory insight and strategic guidance., • A supportive, hands-on leadership structure, including a Regional Manager who provides guidance while empowering you to lead your service effectively.Key Responsibilities:, • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home in line with regulatory and legislative requirements., • Ensure high-quality care delivery tailored to children with trauma backgrounds, mental health needs, and learning disabilities., • Maintain full compliance with safeguarding and children’s residential regulations., • Develop and mentor a high-performing, stable staff team., • Drive continuous improvement and work towards maintaining and enhancing Ofsted ratings., • Manage budgets, occupancy, and performance targets effectively.We Are Looking For:, • An experienced Registered Manager (or strong Deputy ready to step up)., • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)., • Proven experience supporting children with learning disabilities and complex needs., • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding frameworks., • A passionate, child-focused leader committed to delivering exceptional care and positive outcomes., • Someone ambitious and motivated by career progression and service development.What’s on Offer:, • Competitive salary of £51,500 – £61,500., • Opportunity to lead an established, well-resourced home., • Strong senior leadership support with regulatory expertise., • Clear career progression pathways within a growing organisation.
