Head of Event Logistics Location: London Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 Working Pattern: Full-time UK and international travel required, with flexibility for extended hours around live events My client is a leading events and hospitality business delivering high-profile live events, premium hospitality experiences and international sporting projects. They are now seeking an experienced Head of Logistics to lead the planning and delivery of logistics across a diverse and fast-paced events portfolio. This is a senior operational leadership role overseeing logistics, procurement, suppliers, equipment and on-site delivery. You will work closely with event managers, production teams, venues, contractors and clients to ensure complex events are delivered safely, efficiently and to an exceptional standard. The role would suit a commercially minded logistics leader with significant experience across large-scale live events, premium hospitality or catering who is comfortable managing complex projects, teams, suppliers and budgets. Key Responsibilities Lead logistics planning and delivery across multiple high-profile events and projects Oversee pre-event planning including transport, infrastructure, power, water, waste, plant and equipment requirements Manage suppliers, procurement activity, tenders and commercial negotiations Lead international logistics including transportation, routing and storage of event assets Manage and develop the logistics team, creating clear accountability and high operational standards Oversee company-owned equipment, stock control, maintenance and asset utilisation Manage operational budgets, forecasts, reconciliations and cost control Lead on-site logistics during event builds, live delivery and breakdown Develop operational processes and systems to improve efficiency and scalability Work closely with event, production, catering and operations teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless delivery Ensure all logistics activity meets health & safety, food safety and event compliance requirements Lead risk assessment and mitigation planning across operational activity Drive continuous improvement and contribute to wider operational projects About You Significant experience delivering large-scale live events within premium hospitality, catering, sporting or cultural events Proven experience leading complex logistics or operational functions Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills Extensive procurement and supplier management experience Commercially astute with experience managing substantial operational budgets Highly organised with excellent planning and communication skills Strong understanding of event health & safety, compliance and risk management Advanced Excel skills including formulas and data analysis Calm, adaptable and solutions-focused when working under pressure Confident managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously International event logistics experience advantageous Experience within premium sports hospitality, motorsport or global live events highly desirable Willingness to travel internationally and work extended hours around live events This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced logistics leader to take ownership of a complex events operation, working across some of the most high-profile live events and premium hospitality projects.
