Prepare and present a variety of desserts from the restaurant menu, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and appearance. Inspect and verify the quality and freshness of dessert ingredients supplied. Supervise the preparation and plating of desserts, upholding high culinary and presentation standards. Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and update dessert menus, making use of seasonal ingredients and responding to customer preferences. Enforce strict compliance with food hygiene, allergen management, and health & safety regulations. Monitor portion sizes and quality of finished desserts, implementing improvements where necessary.
