Senior National Account Manager Do you have a proven track record of leading commercial teams to deliver growth? MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a Leading FMCG Business to recruit a Senior National Account Manager. This is a permanent role reporting into the Head of Market Strategy & Planning (MS&P). The role is based in Oxfordshire on a hybrid basis. The Senior National Account Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy, setting divisional priorities, and delivering KPIs across growth, revenue, and profit. You will manage a broad network of customers across the retail and discount landscape, building strong relationships and identifying new opportunities to enhance trade spend efficiency and performance. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the delivery of business unit sales, volume, and profit targets., • Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including board members, leadership teams, commercial teams, and customers., • Develop promotional and pricing strategies using internal and external data, providing actionable recommendations., • Recruit, lead, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, development, and excellence., • Monitor and audit promotional activities, evaluating effectiveness and recommending improvements., • Manage and enhance tools for promotional revenue growth management (PRGM), creating new tools as business needs evolve., • Conduct analysis and provide actionable insights to drive business growth, presenting clear recommendations., • Develop and embed a three-year RGM strategy, covering pricing, promotion guidelines, and value optimisation levers., • Lead the end-to-end pricing process, ensuring alignment and building pricing elasticity models., • Implement commercial cycle tools, such as customer segmentation and promotional analysis, aligned with business mandates., • Drive compliance with trade terms, monitoring execution and ensuring delivery against agreements. What We're Looking For: • Proven leadership experience in a commercial or strategy-focused role, ideally within FMCG, retail, or a related sector., • Strong ability to deliver growth through strategy, insight, and execution., • Demonstrable success in developing and implementing pricing and promotional strategies., • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insight., • Track record of building and leading high-performing teams., • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the business., • Commercially astute, with a deep understanding of revenue, trade spend, and profitability drivers.
