We welcome applications from all backgrounds and particularly from groups currently under-represented, including people with disabilities, those from minority ethnic communities or from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds \n The opportunity has arisen within West Lothian Council, Housing, Customer & Building Services for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Estates Assistant to join our team to deliver a high quality service in respect of estate management services. \n This will include :- \n Provision of estate management services including inspections of communal stairs/bin/garden areas, participate environmental visual audits, community clear ups ensuring that issues are resolved in accordance with policy. \n Co-ordination and implementation of gas and electric forced entries in line with procedure to ensure the council fulfils its statutory compliance duties. \n Responsible and accountable for the implementation of relevant Housing Management policies and procedures and ensure compliance with current legislation, regulation and good practice. \n Working with internal and external partners seeking appropriate solutions to assist and support our tenants in our community to sustain their tenancy in their neighbourhood. \n Essential to have a Chartered Institute of Housing Level 2 qualification or equivalent, or recent relevant experience of working in a frontline customer focused environment. \n Have highly developed communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. \n Ability to record and report information accurately and concisely both verbally and in writing. \n Work effectively under pressure with the ability to prioritise own workload. \n Good knowledge of various IT packages \n Secondment opportunities must be discussed with your current line manager prior to submitting an application for this post. As a Smart Metering Engineer, you'll be exchanging traditional meters for smart, along with responding to emergency and maintenance appointments on behalf ofE.ON NEXT, ensuring customers Smart Meters are working correctly. Our smart metering partnership with E.ON NEXT is in its twelfth year, built on continuous high performance, resulting in multiple contract extensions Customer service is our top priority. You'll make sure that all jobs are completed on time and our customers are explained the benefits and safe usage of their new smart meter. Do you have a CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3 all with MET1, or hold an NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering Dual Fuel?Are you experiences installing gas and electric smart meters? Have you gotprevious MOCOPA experience to a multi rate level?
