This is a full-time, permanent position delivering caged goods throughout the UK on behalf of our retail client. Key Responsibilities Carry out pallet deliveries and collections in a safe and efficient manner. Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle in accordance with all legal and company requirements. Complete daily vehicle walkaround checks and report any defects promptly. Use a tail lift to load and unload cages at store sites (manual manoevering of cages is necessary). Complete electronic Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation accurately. Use company-approved smartphone applications for POD completion, vehicle checks, and transport-related tasks. Essential Requirements Valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence. Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card. Previous Class 2 driving experience is essential. Experience operating vehicles fitted with tail lifts. Ability and willingness to use an electric pallet truck when required. Good knowledge of road transport regulations and driver compliance requirements. Strong communication and customer service skills. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach to work. Own smartphone required for electronic POD completion, vehicle checks, and transport applications.
